Job Description
As a Journey Level Installer at Engebos Heating and Cooling LLC, you’ll be responsible for the professional installation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You’ll work independently or as part of a team, ensuring all systems are installed to code, manufacturer specifications, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, and ductless units
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Perform start-ups and basic system troubleshooting post-installation
- Collaborate with other trades and project managers on job sites
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate updates to office staff
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HVAC installation
- Valid HVAC license or journeyman certification (as required by state)
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, controls, and systems
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
